A short memo about Windows Server 2008/SBS 2008 compatibility: as the ORF Administration Tool requires administrator privileges to run, it must be ran as administrator. The easiest way to archive this is to update the Admin Tool shortcut with setting the “Run as Administrator” checkbox. Without elevation, you may not be able to start/stop the ORF Service from the Admin Tool and also statistics will not be available. The upcoming ORF 5 version will be shipped with a manifest that will cause Windows to automatically prompt for elevation.
