After a lengthy development, ORF 6.9 is finally here, with new features and a host of improvements, and important bug fixes.
This release introduces the integrated GeoIP Blacklist, allowing you to filter emails by geographic origin for better control over your email traffic. The Log Viewer now shows Sender Location information, simplifying the process of tracing email sources. Additionally, the Reporting Tool now features GeoIP blacklist statistics for better insight into your geographic filtering.
The user interface has been improved with configuration errors and warnings highlighted for easier troubleshooting. The DKIM Test now offers a list-type configuration interface for the ‘Blacklist on neutral or permerror’ option, enhancing customization. Attachment management has been simplified, allowing you to resend quarantined attachments in a single email. We have added a new Network Settings page to centralize DNS and proxy settings, and the System Status page now displays DNS and HTTP proxy status information to help identify potential network-related configuration issues.
We have also added automated, but optional, Error Reporting feature to the ORF service for a smoother and more proactive issue resolution.
Several key bugs have been fixed, including issues with DKIM accuracy, DNS resolution, SURBL blacklisting, and attachment filtering, ensuring a more effective and reliable filtering performance.
But that is not all! For a complete overview of all the changes and to download the latest version, see the Change Log and visit the Client Portal.
